Bridge Beat Duo is coming to Black Shed!

Sam is a singer, Songwriter, Performer. As recent as May 2022, Sam has lead national act 'Blood Sweat & Tears' as one of their lead singers. Sam is also 1/2 of Bucks Countys’ popular acoustic/percussion duo ‘Bridge Beat Duo’, joining forces with Matt Setzer November 2019. Some other notable performances include opening for national acts such as Robert Randolph and The Family Band and for super-group “ASIA”, Ryan was also a top-five finalist in SingerUniverse Magazine, Best Vocalist Contest.

Matt Setzer fronted the popular NYC based band Dr. Hourai in the early 2000s. After releasing their first song “Inverted Gas Attack”. They were immediately signed by Ny independent label “Angry Penguin Records”. Their first release “Vibrations in Hyperspace” was recorded at famed studio “The Loft” in Bronxville, NY. A relentless touring schedule, which included stints on “The Vans Warped Tour”, led to modest sales in excess of 50,000 units of their debut EP. after leaving Dr. Hourai in 2007, he joined The Smashup and despite many label offers and interest, he decided to enroll in vocal performance college classes and work on his craft.

After moving to New Hope, PA he began playing solo locally and soon began sharing the stage with members of Ween, Parliament Funkadelic, The Rollins Band, Blood Sweat and Tears, and many others. He formed Moonbreaker in 2015 and released a self-titled EP. In 2019 he joined forces with Sam Ryan to form “Bridge Beat Duo” and has steadily gained popularity in the local area while playing excess of 100 shows in their first year.
